Intro

Start GPT, Midjuni, Dream Studio, Bing AI. Since the splashy debut of Chat GPT, dozens of AI services have poured out in a few months. The speed is so fast that it's hard to catch up. After the competition between AlphaGo and Lee Sedol, there was a time when the keyword "AI" alone raised the corporate value. Just a few months before ChatGPT came out, there were murmurs that AI was just a bubble that had burst. And now, after the release of ChatGPT Beta in November 22, how do you think about AI?

In fact, we don't really know how various AI services work, what technology is being used. Do we need to know? No, we don't. After all, even if we don't know how our smartphones work, we use them well! What we need to do is to enjoy and make the most of this technology that has appeared like a comet.🙂

So, how can AI be applied to our daily lives? What role will AI play in society? What should we do to avoid humans losing their place to AI?

To find answers to these various questions, the BetaAI team has gathered. Our team, composed of six individuals, including developers, PMs, designers, and planners, explored various Generative AI services for a month and considered how this technology could be applied. We also selected two AI service ideas and created services ourselves. Now, let me introduce you to the GenAI project that the BetaAI team has enjoyed for a month ☺️

BetaAI Team Introduction

BetaAI is a side project, and all the team members have their own wonderful main jobs. Let me introduce you to the hustling team members who go back and forth between their main and sub roles!

🌴 Moana (Team A, B)

• A nomad worker who works while traveling. Currently working as a product designer and PM at a startup in the metaverse+NFT field.

• She is curious about various fields and likes to try new technologies and tools. She enjoys debating about technology, art, philosophy, and life. She is responsible for team leading and PM roles at BetaAI 🙂

🔥 Nana (Team A)

• An undergraduate student at KAIST majoring in industrial design. She is preparing for her graduation project and participating in the BetaAI project while observing the hot trend of GenAI.

• She likes to work on side projects and has a lot of experience, even though she is an undergraduate. She participated in the project as a planner and product designer.

Team A: Tattoo Genie

✍️ Tattoo Genie to receive AI-recommended tattoo designs!

Tattoo Genie is a service that automatically creates and provides various styles of tattoo designs using GenAI. When users input the topic and tattoo design style they want to represent, the service automatically generates several virtual tattoo designs and provides them. Try creating a variety of tattoo designs using AI with Tattoo Genie 😊

Team B: BetaAI Tunes

🎶 AI's playlist with the perfect thumbnail for your favorite music

When a user inputs their favorite song to BetaAI Tunes, the service recommends other songs with similar emotions and simultaneously analyzes the emotions of the playlist, automatically generating background artwork to match. The background artwork created in the style of a specific famous artist will change according to the season, and currently being generated in the style of van Gogh.
